Why Does My Generator Run, but Not Produce Electricity? Flashing the Field, AVR and Brush Holder Replacement

Image
Loss of Residual Magnetism (Most Common) Generators work by moving electrical conductors through a self-created magnetic field. However, generators do not contain any magnets. The magnetic field referred to is created by taking some of the generator output voltage, converting it to DC, and feeding it into a coil to make an electromagnet. Generators start up by using something called residual magnetism. This is a small amount of magnetism left over from the magnetic field that was created the last time the generator was running. This little bit of leftover magnetism is enough to produce a small amount of electricity. This small amount is used to create an electromagnet. As the engine begins to turn this electromagnet, moving its electric field, through the stator windings, your generator will produce more power. However, if residual magnetism is lost, your generator will produce no power at startup. Loss of residual magnetism may be caused by the generation being out of use for a ...

LG Top Load Washer - PE Error code ( Water Level / Pressure Sensor ) FIX

Image
LG Error code details : https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/error-codes-washing-machine-CT00000305-20150140270078 PE Error Code PE The  error indicates that there is a problem with the water level sensor.   How a Pressure Switch Works in a Washing Machine A pressure switch, or water level control, allows your washing machine to detect when it's sufficiently filled. It can then close the valve from which your home or building's water supply into the machine. Pressure Hose Your washer contains an air-tight hose that runs from the body of the washer to the pressure switch. As the washer fills with water, the air that was in it is displaced, and has no way to escape but through the hose, gradually increasing the pressure on the switch. Water Level Setting Most washers allow you to set the desired water level yourself (usually low/medium/high settings). This simply changes the threshold of pressure at which the switch is told to redirect the power---the higher the th...

Sony Bravia 55" Double image / Image Flickering ( CKV - Clock Vertical Signal ) LED Panel Repairing

Image
Double Image fault solution through CKV, CKVB and STVP Signal Cutting. What is Ckv CKVB STVP in LCD TV?  Pulse-pulse CKV, CKVB, STVP used as pulse “Row driver” or also called “Gate – driver”. … What is CKV in LED TV?  The CKV signal detection circuit comprises a first LED, a second LED, a first light sensor, a second light sensor and a judging module. A node between the first LED and the second LED is used for receiving CKV signals output by the control panel. What is pair a signal ? Pair signals mean after the level shifter section we will get the separate output like CKV 1 , CKVB 1 and STV 1. before entering to Gate Driver IC [ COF ] these three signals are synchronizing each other its called signal paring. depending on COF ic this pair will be increase or decrease. example single COF IC is available in scalar board single pair signal only available (ckv 1,ckvb 1, stv 1) ckv is a positive pulse and ckvb is a generally negative pulse. CKV SIGNAL Other Names  COG, Gate dr...

Repairing Induction Cooker Main Board and Most Common Problems With Power

Image
Let see a high level Component diagram of a Induction cooker Behind this heat sink of above image there will be IGBT Transsistor and Bridge rectifier Diode (Lets see them in detail in the component repair section) The main problems facing electric oven users are as follows: Blown fuse - occurs due to voltage jump. The low price of new fuses and a simple replacement process make it easy to fix this fault yourself. For the future, we propose to purchase a device that will protect the electrical network from electrical surges. Short Circuit with Bridge Rectifier Diode - This can trigger the Fuse to blown if the AC line of the Bridge Rectifier is short. Have you heard of a bridge rectifier? In case you didn’t know, a bridge rectifier, also called a full bridge rectifier, is a set of four or more diodes in a bridge circuit configuration. It gives the same output polarity to either input polarity or is utilized for converting an AC input into a DC input. How Do You Test a Bridge R...
